GPS boat tracking shows where the boat is now and where it has been.
Current position and previous tracks are held in the same system as your cameras and onboard data, so a movement can be checked against video from the same moment. You can define geofence areas around a berth, mooring or cruising ground and receive boat geofence alerts if the boat moves or leaves that area.
Movement monitoring is useful while the boat is unattended over winter, on a swinging mooring, or ashore in a yard.
BRNKL Blue connects to the existing NMEA 2000 network on your boat and brings compatible vessel data into the same place as your cameras, alerts and tracking.
Depending on what your instruments and engines publish to the bus, that can include engine data, fuel information, depth and navigation data, along with other compatible NMEA 2000 information. Available data varies by boat, so we confirm what is achievable on yours before quoting.

Where the engine reports it to the bus, fuel-flow data can be recorded alongside boat speed and engine rpm to support fuel-use analysis.
Most of the risk to a leisure boat builds up while nobody is aboard. Boat bilge monitoring, boat battery monitoring and shore power monitoring are the checks owners want most often.
From your phone you can see bilge activity, and high-water readings where a suitable bilge sensor is connected as part of the installation. Battery voltage and power condition are shown alongside it, together with loss of shore power and any other sensors wired in during fitting.
When a value moves outside the range you have set, BRNKL Blue alerts you, so a flat battery or a running bilge pump is something you find out about early rather than on your next visit.

BRNKL Blue supports compatible RTSP and ONVIF IP cameras, which is what separates it from most boat trackers and alarm panels. It works as a boat CCTV system as well as a monitoring system.
You get live remote viewing, continuous recording, event-based recording and local storage on 1TB or 4TB, so historical footage stays on the boat rather than depending on a cloud plan. Footage can be reviewed and exported, and viewed alongside GPS position and vessel data on the BRNKL timeline, so remote boat cameras and onboard data tell the same story.
A basic GPS boat tracker tells you where the boat is. BRNKL Blue brings position together with the boat's own systems, cameras, alerts, NMEA 2000 data, local video recording, trip history and event replay, so you can also see what was happening at the time.

BRNKL Blue has no recurring BRNKL software subscription.
Video is stored locally on the unit as standard, on 1TB or 4TB, so you are not paying monthly for somewhere to keep your own footage. Optional cloud storage is available if you want it.
Remote access still depends on the boat having an internet connection, whether that is Starlink, cellular, satellite or another onboard communications service. That connection is billed by whoever provides it. What BRNKL Blue removes is a second subscription on top of it for the monitoring software.
