Use of this website
You may use this site for lawful purposes and to evaluate our products. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, or extract content systematically for republication without our written permission.
Information on this site
We aim to keep product specifications, compliance references and guidance accurate and current. However, content on this site is provided for general information. Specifications may change as manufacturers revise their products, and regulatory guidance such as MGN 436 or the Workboat Code is periodically amended. Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional, legal or regulatory advice specific to your vessel and operation.
Guidance we publish about compliance obligations reflects our understanding at the time of writing. You remain responsible for determining and meeting the requirements that apply to your vessels.
Quotations and orders
Prices for our systems are provided on application, because configuration depends on vessel type, sensor count, installation and integration requirements. A quotation is an invitation to treat, not a binding offer, and is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. A contract is formed only when we accept your order in writing.
Products and distribution
Mission Dynamics is the authorised European distributor for BRNKL systems, manufactured by Barnacle Systems Inc. Wave Guardian is our own product. BRNKL hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty; we administer warranty claims on your behalf. Warranty terms are supplied with your quotation and order documentation.
Installation, subscriptions and connectivity
Where installation is carried out by you or a third party, correct fitting and calibration are your responsibility, and incorrect installation may affect data quality and invalidate warranty. Some functions depend on cellular, satellite or Starlink connectivity provided by third parties, which we do not control and cannot guarantee.
Limitation of liability
Our systems are monitoring and recording tools. They support decision-making, evidence gathering and compliance awareness; they do not replace competent seamanship, risk assessment, or your legal duties as an operator or employer. We do not warrant that any system will detect every event or prevent any incident, injury or loss.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of data, or loss arising from reliance on recorded data or from connectivity failure. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where you contract as a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Intellectual property
The content, layout and design of this site are owned by Mission Dynamics Ltd or licensed to us. BRNKL is a trade mark of Barnacle Systems Inc. You may not reproduce our content commercially without permission.
Export control
Some products may be supplied to defence, enforcement or government customers. You agree not to re-export or transfer any product in breach of applicable UK export control or sanctions law.
Links to other sites
Where we link to third-party sites, including manufacturer and regulatory sources, we are not responsible for their content or availability.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
